Role: Senior Analyst Experience: 4 to 5 years Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu , India (CHN) Job Description: We’re looking for a Senior Collections Data Analyst who can turn raw data into actionable insights that improve portfolio performance and collections efficiency. You’ll work closely with Risk, Collections, Product, and Strategy teams to surface insights through SQL and develop intuitive analytics tools using Streamlit or similar frameworks. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone with fintech or SMB lending experience and a passion for solving complex operational challenges through data. Job Responsibilities: Analyse repayment behaviour and portfolio performance to identify risk and opportunity areas across the collections lifecycle. Write efficient SQL to extract, transform, and analyse large datasets related to delinquency, repayment, and recovery. Build and maintain analytical apps or dashboards (e.g., using Streamlit) to enable real-time decision-making for operations and risk teams. Partner with the Collections Strategy team to A/B test and evaluate new workflows, outreach strategies, and vendor performance. Design KPI dashboards and provide weekly/monthly reporting on collections health and trends. Identify leading indicators of distress or default using borrower and transactional data. Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership. 4–5 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, ideally within a fintech or lending environment. Deep proficiency in SQL (e.g., CTEs, window functions, performance tuning). Experience using, Dash, or equivalent to build and share insight tools. Strong understanding of collections or credit risk metrics (e.g., roll rates, cure rates, recovery rate). Ability to visualize and communicate complex data clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery). Strong critical thinking and attention to detail. Experience with Streamlit type front end UI . Prior experience in SMB lending or small business credit. Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and prototyping.
