Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Architect / Interior Designer to lead the retail design strategy for Alankaram’s showrooms across India. This role will involve conceptualizing, planning, and executing immersive store environments that communicate the brand’s identity while enhancing customer engagement and commercial impact. Key Responsibilities Retail Store Design Lead end-to-end design for Alankaram’s retail showrooms — from concept to completion. Translate brand guidelines and product sensibility into experiential retail environments. Develop spatial layouts, customer flow mapping, lighting plans, and in-store visual merchandising concepts. Architecture & Execution Oversight Create detailed drawings, 3D renders, and architectural documentation. Liaise with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure design execution meets quality, timelines, and budget standards. Oversee material specification, site supervision, and design audits during execution. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with the Product Design, Sales, Marketing, and Branding teams to align physical spaces with strategic goals. Coordinate with graphic designers for store branding, wayfinding, and visual storytelling. Innovation & Sustainability Integrate sustainable materials and practices into retail architecture. Stay updated on global trends in retail, furniture display, and customer experience to continuously refine store design. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design 10+ years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in retail store/interior design Proven portfolio of retail or showroom projects (preferably in premium/luxury sectors) Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3Ds Max, V-Ray, Adobe Suite, and MS Office Excellent understanding of materials, lighting, and finishes Strong project management and leadership capabilities Ability to work from Pithampur with travel to other locations as needed What We Offer A unique opportunity to shape experiential retail for one of India’s leading design brands Collaborative work environment with creative freedom Opportunity to build and standardize showroom formats across key cities Show more Show less
