Job Description

Designation: Sr. Associate-Specialist-Automotive Interiors Location: Bangalore (In house) Experience : 7-10 years Required Skills: Design plastic components, brackets and other mounting fixtures to secure wire harnesses and related electromechanical devices in the vehicle Working Experience on Interiors, Exteriors trim components using Catia V6/3D experience. Understand the Customer requirements, Studio styling criteria and manufacturing requirements and develop 3D CAD models Sound knowledge in packaging and feasibility study and master section creation. Plastic product design and tooling knowledge. Proficient with GD&T. Good verbal and written English is essential. Good to Have: Develop and Design wire harness packaging and system schematics in Catia V5 or V6. Interface with vehicle or equipment electrical system designers to ensure basic electrical requirements are understood and implemented Develop wire harness routing designs in 3D using CATIA . This includes ensuring all harnesses are routed safely and securely and properly connect to applicable electrical units and mating harnesses Develop clear, readable wire harness drawings (in CATIA ) conforming to customer and industry drafting standards Interface with wire harness suppliers and Cross functional Team to address Design for Manufacturability issue
