Senior Automation Engineer

Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Design and develop automation systems for yarn twister machines, including control panels, PLCs, HMIs, and sensors. Select and integrate automation components such as drives, motors, actuators, and communication modules. Develop and program PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems to control machine operations. Design and program HMI (Human-Machine Interface) screens for operator interaction and machine monitoring. Implement advanced control algorithms to optimize machine performance, efficiency, and reliability. Conduct testing and validation of automation systems to ensure functionality and reliability. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for automation failures. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with design specifications and standards. Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to integrate automation systems with other machine components. Provide technical support to manufacturing teams during the assembly, installation, and commissioning of yarn twister machines. Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in automation systems and processes. Assist in the training of technicians and operators on automation systems and troubleshooting procedures. Ensure all automation designs and systems comply with relevant standards Required Qualifications & Experience : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in automation design software/Strong knowledge of PLC programming Minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in the field of textile manufacturing machines' industry.
