Role & responsibilities Location - Bangalore Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Automation Quality Engineer (QE) with expertise in both manual and automation testing for web applications and backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of microservice architecture, test strategy creation, and test plan development. You will play a key role in driving quality across the product development cycle and delivering high-quality solutions.( Based On Interview they will decide on a role.) Key Responsibilities: Design and implement automation test scripts for web and backend applications. Develop and execute test strategies and plans to ensure high-quality deliverables. Automate testing for microservices and ensure scalability and platform integration. Perform API testing using tools like Postman and SoapUI. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and improvements. Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins for testing and deployment. Use Linux and bash scripting for DevOps test automation. Troubleshoot issues with tools like Splunk and Sentry. Maintain test environments in AWS (EC2, RDS, EKS) for automation. Contribute to testing best practices within an Agile environment. Must-Have Skills: 6+ years of experience in manual and automation testing. Strong knowledge of microservice architecture and testing challenges. Expertise in test strategy, Python or .NET for automation, and SQL. Experience with API testing (Postman, SoapUI), Docker, and Jenkins. Familiarity with Linux, AWS services, Jira, and Confluence. Good-to-Have Skills: Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) experience. Knowledge of Splunk, Sentry, and Git. Qualifications: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Strong problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
