Skills Mandatory - Senior Backend Engineer (C#.NET) Total Experience - 6 to 12 years Work Location - Cochin/Trivandrum Notice period - Immediate Job Purpose (both Onsite / Offshore) Senior Engineer to work along with a cross cultured team spanned across onshore/offshore to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using C# and .NET technologies while ensuring seamless API integration and third-party service connectivity. Job Description / Duties and Responsibilities An individual contributor capable of meeting the expectations of a highly skilled team with extensive technical expertise in developing applications for the US mortgage market. Job Specification / Skills and Competencies Develop and Maintain Backend Systems: Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend services and applications using C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework . Integration Expertise: Lead the implementation of robust integration solutions, including designing and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs , handling authentication protocols like OAuth, and integrating third-party services . Database Management: Work extensively with SQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) for writing complex queries, query optimization, and data modelling; experience with ORMs like Entity Framework or Dapper is essential. Testing and Security: Ensure application reliability by writing unit tests, integration tests, and adhering to secure coding best practices to mitigate vulnerabilities. Collaboration and Tools: Work closely with cross-functional teams, using Git for version control and managing CI/CD pipelines through tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps . Problem-Solving and Communication: Demonstrate strong debugging skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to team members and stakeholders. Domain expertise: Working experience in building applications within US Mortgage Domain. Expected to have good communication and experience in working directly with US based customers. Expected to work at least 4 hours overlap with US Pacific business hours.
