Senior Backend Engineer(IIT/ NIT/ IIIT)

Our client is currently building something truly exciting in stealth mode(disrupt the flooring industry) and were looking for talented tech professionals to join the founding team. What were looking for We're looking for rockstar individuals who are passionate to create impact, excited to work in an early stage startup, love to take responsibility & ownership, and curious to learn. You'll be working closely with founders, participate in building product ground up, and grow with the company's growth. Core Skill needed 2-4 years of backend development experience, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment Strong expertise in Django Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and performance tuning A solid grasp of system design principles and scalable architecture patterns Experience working with AWS and cloud-based infrastructure. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive independently in a dynamic startup environment What You'll Do Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services Architect and optimize database models and queries to ensure performance and reliability Lead system design efforts, focusing on scalability and maintainability as we grow Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, following best practices for security and performance Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to create a seamless user experience Implement robust APIs and integrate third-party services as required Write clean, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code Take ownership of backend engineering challenges and drive continuous technical improvement Lead a small team and mentor junior engineers Benefits High-impact role in an early-stage, venture-backed startup Leadership opportunity to shape both the product and the engineering team Competitive salary + esops in a fast-growing company Work with a talented, driven team solving real-world challenges
