Job Description

Role & Responsibilities: Boiler Operation: Monitor and control boiler operations, including water levels, fuel levels, pressure, and temperature. Start up, shut down, and operate boilers according to established procedures and safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of boiler equipment, including blowdowns, cleaning, and water treatment. Troubleshoot and diagnose boiler malfunctions and implement corrective actions promptly. Ensure the availability of adequate steam supply to meet production demands. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices related to boiler operation. Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure that all safety equipment is in good working order. Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and fuel consumption. Maintenance and Repairs: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on boiler equipment as per the maintenance schedule. Assist in the installation and repair of boiler components. Coordinate with maintenance personnel and contractors for major repairs and upgrades. Water Treatment: Monitor and maintain water quality in the boiler system. Training and Guidance: Provide guidance and training to junior operators on safe boiler operation and maintenance procedures. Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies related to boiler operation. Preferred candidate profile Education: ITI Graduate & Technical or vocational training in boiler operation is highly preferred. Experience: 6-7 years of hands-on experience in operating and maintaining industrial boilers, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Candidate must have exp using Gas as a fuel, Coal or Husk used as a fuel will not work.
