What will your essential responsibilities include Collect, challenge, facilitate and document business requirements in a business requirements specification & functional specification, or a set of Features, Epics & User stories. Validate the overall IT solution is aligned with business requirements, walk through requirements with the business and then development & test teams to ensure understanding. Support development and system test queries, facilitate user acceptance testing, and provide support for issues/changes in production. Collaborate with Transformation & Change Delivery resources to ensure requirements and solution support the overall business process. Help identify how requirements can help make the business process more efficient. You will report to the Business Analyst Lead. SHARE your talent Were looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Required Skills and Abilities: Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication skills (written and verbal), and the ability to present information in an influencing manner at leadership level. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to build trusting relationships with the business. Relevant years of proven experience of business analysis within the P&C Insurance domain. Preference given to an understanding of how Delegated Authority business works in the Lloyds market, and in particular experience of the Watertrace BDX, iQRoute and Bindercloud systems. Ability to extract and document business requirements, to support the delivery of a technical solution. This must include the ability to plan for and facilitate business requirements workshops. Experience of engaging with external (vendor) supplier to enable the configuration of an off the shelf package to meet business requirements. Must have familiarity with various Analyst techniques e.g. Requirements Catalogue/ Business Process Modelling / Use Cases / Epics & User Stories. Desired Skills and Abilities: Significant experience of supporting all phases of the software development life cycle. Experience with different SDLC methodologies, both Waterfall and Agile Scrum. Proven planning and organization skills, with an ability to work self-directedly, planning their analysis work, prioritizing workload, preparing in advance and setting realistic timescales. Adaptable to new/different strategies, programs, technologies, practices, cultures, etc. Comfortable with change, able to easily make transitions.
