Job Description

Role & responsibilities This is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru/Chennai/Tiruchirapalli for a Senior Business Development Executive - Industrial Automation. The role involves new business development, lead generation, managing client accounts, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. The role requires the individual to work both from the office and remotely, ensuring flexibility in work arrangements. As a Business Development Executive, you will drive revenue growth by building relationships, managing accounts, and closing deals. Key responsibilities include: Identifying new sales opportunities and developing new customers through lead generation, cold calling, and networking. Understanding and focusing opportunities in process and discrete manufacturing industries (food and beverage, pulp and paper, chemicals, cement, energy, automobiles, etc.) Understanding technical intricacies and functionalities of IIoT and MES products, and effectively explaining their benefits customer Preparing and sending techno commercial offers to the customers Planning and execution of travel and visits to manufacturing factories and customers Conducting product or service presentations tailored to the needs of clients and prospective customers. Negotiating contracts and agreements, ensuring mutual satisfaction and alignment with company goals. Overseeing a portfolio of existing accounts, strengthening client relationships, and identifying up selling opportunities. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience. Meeting and exceeding sales targets, tracking progress, and generating regular performance reports. Staying informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging market opportunities to maintain a competitive edge. Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads. Preferred candidate profile A bachelors degree in electronics, instrumentation, business, marketing, or a related field. 2 to 5 years of proven success in industrial automation sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Persuasive presentation skills, with experience delivering tailored pitches to executives or decision-makers. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple clients and deadlines effectively. Ability to work independently and in a hybrid setup
