Job Description

1. REQ: Sr. BDM / BDM -Technology solutions Services(Design and R&D services - from Concept to Blueprints) Location: Ahmedabad, IndiaExperience: 15 Years PreferredIndustry Focus: Embedded Systems, IoT, Industrial Electronics, Medical Devices, Automotive, Biometrics, Consumer Electronics, Defense, etc. 2. Company Introduction:MITRAS Global is a leading engineering services firm offering end-to-end Design and R&D services - (from Concept to Blueprints) to global clients across sectors. MITRAS is a new initiative of Mantra Group, A leading company providing biometrics and security solutions. We cater to diverse industries such as Automotive, Industrial Automation, Medical Electronics, Consumer Electronics, IoT, Smart Infrastructure, and Defense—empowering clients with cutting-edge embedded innovations and agile execution models. 3. Role Overview: Lead international GTM initiatives targeting domestic & International (North America, Europe, Middle East, and APAC etc ). Own the sales lifecycle from pipeline creation to contract closure across embedded hardware, IoT platforms, industrial electronics, and tech services. 4. Key Responsibilities:• Develop $500K+ international pipeline in 12 months• Close $200K+ worth of deals for embedded and IoT systems• Drive new client acquisition in industrial, automotive, medical, and consumer electronics• Collaborate with embedded design, firmware, hardware, and manufacturing teams to align scope• Respond to RFPs and prepare winning proposals (30%+ win rate)• Establish channel partnerships and SI alliances contributing to 10–15% of revenue• Mentor and scale a small team of BDMs or tech sales engineers• Deliver market reports, competitor insights, and input to R&D for new offering ideation 5. Qualifications:• 10+ years of international B2B technical sales, with at least 3 years in embedded product or IT services domain • Proven record of $500K–$1M+ revenue contribution in startup or early-growth environments • Technical degree (Electronics/CS) + MBA preferred 6. Technical Competencies: • Strong grasp of embedded design life cycle (MCUs, SoCs, DFM, prototyping, certifications) • IT service sales and integration exposure (cloud, software, platform layers) • Experience in product-market fit, tech proposal drafting, and stakeholder communication 7. Behavioral Competencies: • Strategic thinker with a builder mindset • Cross-cultural communication skills for international clientele • Coach and leader who drives KPIs through ownership 8. KPIs to Track: • Sales target: $250K+ in Year 1 • Pipeline-to-close ratio: 2:1 • Team productivity: 50% YoY improvement • RFP win rate: 30%+ • Client satisfaction: 85%+ 9.
