Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented SRE / Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in cloud computing, with a background in maintaining cloud-based systems and services. Maintain and manage cloud-based systems and services for our clients. Develop and upkeep automation and deployment scripts, utilizing ansible, bash, and Python to streamline repetitive tasks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve intricate technical issues. Ensure the security and availability of cloud infrastructure through vigilant monitoring and maintenance. Stay abreast of the latest advancements and trends in cloud computing. Deploy cloud infrastructure, including subscriptions, virtual networks, virtual machines, and Docker containers, on AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle Cloud platforms. Deploy product-related applications on Linux virtual machines. Integrate requested customer solutions into existing infrastructure, such as VPNs, Express Route, and Direct Connect. Craft tools to minimize errors and enhance customer satisfaction. Conduct root cause analysis for production errors to prevent recurrence. Develop systematic troubleshooting and maintenance procedures. Quickly adapt to new technologies, adeptly solving complex technical challenges while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrate problem-solving prowess and a knack for innovation. Manage configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Automate monitoring tasks using Zabbix, Centreon, or Grafana. KEY CRITERIA 4-6 years of hands-on experience in cloud computing, specializing in the maintenance of cloud-based systems and services. Proficiency with one or more cloud platforms, such as Azure, Oracle Cloud, or AWS. OCI preferred. Familiarity with automation and deployment tools like Ansible, Terraform. Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. Strong interpersonal skills, adept at communication and collaboration. Preferably holds relevant cloud certifications like AWS, OCI, Azure Certified. Proficient in Linux server system administration, with expertise in OLE/ CentOS/RHEL and Ubuntu. Certification preferred. Proficient in scripting languages, particularly Python and Shell. Knowledgeable about Linux infrastructure monitoring and alerting tools like Zabbix, Prometheus, and Grafana. Familiarity with Application Performance Monitoring tools. Experience in distributed compute/storage/network environments. Experience in establishing High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) setups Knowledge of Oracle Database management is a plus. Ability to employ problem-solving techniques like root cause analysis, coupled with a willingness to learn new technologies.
