Job Description

Responsibilities: Write clear, concise, and grammatically correct copy/content. Coordinate with the Creative Director to devise creative strategies. Collaborate with designers, PR, and other professionals for marketing projects across various formats (e.g., online/social media, website, blogs, print ads, marketing collateral, mailers). Proofread work for accuracy and quality. Convert client briefs into impactful communication ideas. Conceptualize copies based on client briefs, incorporating visual cues and ideation. Develop and implement brand guidelines. Write clear and attractive copy with a distinct voice. Coordinate with the Art Director to devise creative strategies. Collaborate with designers, PR, and other professionals on marketing projects (e.g., email campaigns, landing pages). Manage and review work of subordinates for accuracy and quality. Develop and implement brand guidelines. Hire, train, and develop subordinates. Lead and motivate a team effectively. Conduct research to enhance understanding of product categories and industry knowledge. Job Specifications/Qualification Bachelors degree in English, Communications, or related field with10-15yrs of experience. Proficient in MS Office & MS Excel. Knowledgeable in basic SEO techniques. Good understanding of using social media for business purposes. Portfolio of work. Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail. Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress) An ability to write creative copy both for large pieces of content (e.g., product descriptions) and smaller texts (e.g., social media posts).
