Good understanding of distributed system architecture, data lake design and best practices Working knowledge of cloud-based deployments in AWS, Azure or GCP Coding proficiency in at least one programming language (Scala, Python, Java) Experience in Airflow is preferred Experience in data warehousing, relational database architectures (Oracle, SQL, DB2, Teradata) Expertise in Big Data storage and processing platform (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, HBASE) Skills: Problem solver, fast learner, energetic and enthusiastic Self-motivated and highly professional, with the ability to lead, and take ownership and responsibility Adaptable and flexible to business demands Can you say Yes, I will! to the following? Lead analytical projects and deliver value to customers Coordinate individual teams to fulfil client requirements and manage deliverables Communicate and present complex concepts to business audiences Manage and strategize business from an analytics point of view Travel to client locations when necessary Design algorithms for product development and build analytics-based products
