Job Title: Senior Data Modeler Location: Kolkata Industry: Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) Experience: 6 - 10+ years Joining Preferences: Immediate joiners only We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Data Modeler to join our dynamic team in the BFSI industry. Experience in data modeling, with a strong focus on SQL and PL/SQL. A deep understanding of dimension modeling is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain complex data models for various business applications within the BFSI sector. Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models. Ensure data models are optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability. Develop and implement data modeling standards, guidelines, and best practices. Conduct data analysis and profiling to ensure data quality and integrity. Work with ETL developers to ensure accurate and efficient data integration processes. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data modelers and other team members. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in data modeling, preferably within the BFSI industry. Strong working knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL. Experience in Oracle is a must Proven experience with dimension modeling and data warehousing concepts. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, ERwin, or similar is a plus.
