Senior Design Engineer – Mechanical (HVAC)

Job Description

Location: Bangalore and Salem (WFO) Experience: 6+ Years Qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech (Mechanical) Platform: BIM ( Revit MEP, BIM360, Navisworks) About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer – Mechanical to join our dynamic MEP team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Mechanical/HVAC system design, modelling, detailing, and documentation using CAD and BIM platforms. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality HVAC design solutions for a variety of projects including commercial, residential, healthcare, sports, and mixed-use buildings. Key Responsibilities: Design, model, detail, and document Mechanical/HVAC systems in 2D and 3D using BIM tools. Prepare construction documentation and detailed design deliverables adhering to project standards. Perform HVAC calculations using Trane Trace software. Ensure quality control by following project QC checklists and maintaining consistent standards across all deliverables. Coordinate regularly with clients through status calls and updates, ensuring timely delivery of assigned tasks under project lead supervision. Take ownership of HVAC task performance and overall quality of deliverables on assigned projects. Required Skillset: Proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, BIM360, Navisworks, and Trane Trace. Strong knowledge of USA HVAC standards and experience working on USA projects (Minimum 3 years) . In-depth understanding of HVAC system design and application. Experience across multiple building types: commercial, residential, sports facilities, office buildings, hospitals, and mixed-use developments. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 6 years of experience working on CAD and BIM platforms in HVAC design.
