Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure/AWS) Location : Pune, India Experience : 4 - 7 Years Mode : Full-time, Office-based Role Overview : Were looking for a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer skilled in Azure or AWS to design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure. Youll own VPC/networking, firewall and security configurations, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-codehelping teams ship software faster and more reliably. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Networking & Security Architect and manage Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs in AWS, VNets in Azure), subnets, routing tables, and security groups. Configure cloud firewalls (AWS Network ACLs, Azure Network Security Groups and Azure Firewall), VPNs, and DDoS protection. Implement identity & access management (AWS IAM, Azure RBAC), key management (KMS/Azure Key Vault), and secret rotation. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Define, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates. Version-control all IaC in Git and enforce code reviews/best practices. CI/CD Pipelines & Automation Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Automate build, test, and deployment workflows for microservices, container images, and serverless functions. Containerization & Orchestration Containerize applications with Docker and deploy on Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) or ECS/Fargate Monitoring, Logging & Alerting Instrument systems with Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor. Centralize logs via ELK/EFK stacks, AWS CloudWatch Logs, or Azure Log Analytics and configure alerting for SLOs/SLAs. Performance & Cost Optimization FinOps Right-size compute/storage, apply spot/ reserved-instance strategies, and identify cost-saving opportunities. o Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning for production workloads. Must-Have Skills: 4- 7 years experience in DevOps or cloud engineering on AWS and/or Azure. Deep expertise in cloud networking: VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, security groups, Network ACLs, and Azure Firewall. Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. Solid CI/CD tooling: Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab Actions, or Azure DevOps Pipelines. Container orchestration: Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) or AWS ECS/Fargate. Monitoring/alerting: Prometheus/Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor. Strong scripting/automation skills: Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Nice-to-Have: Experience with service meshes (Istio, Linkerd). Familiarity with GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux). Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert. Security certifications: CISSP, AWS Security Specialty, or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
