Title: Senior Draughtsman Experience: 5 to 8 Years Reporting To: Asst. Manager-Detailing Engineering Education: NCTVT/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Job Description: As a Senior Draughtsman at M.E Energy, you will play a pivotal role in our Detailing Engineering function, contributing your expertise in project production management and domain knowledge. We are seeking seasoned professionals who are passionate, self-motivated, and adept at handling the complexities of power plant projects involving Waste Heat Recovery Boilers (WHRB) and steam turbine packages. Key Responsibilities: Independently handle the complete project lifecycle, from conception to commissioning. Prepare manufacturing drawings for WHRB (smoke tube and water tube), pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and piping in compliance with IBR and ASME standards. Generate structure drawings, including self-supported and structure-supported chimneys. Develop layout drawings, GA drawings, and foundation drawings. Design compact skids to meet project requirements. Requirements: 6-8 years of experience in power plant projects, with a focus on WHRBs and steam turbine packages. Proficiency in Auto-cad/Solidworks and other relevant software for independent work. Familiarity with mechanical calculations as per IBR, ASME, and structural analysis tools such as STADD. NCTVT/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
