Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Build, maintain,and enhance Drupal websites, including custom modules, themes, and custom REST APIs. o Implement and configure core and contributed modules. o Develop custom solutions for complex project requirements. o Create and manage content types, fields, views, and taxonomies. o Configure and troubleshoot contributed modules for functionality. o Apply security updates and patches to Drupal core and contributed modules. o Design, develop and maintain SSO integrations using OAuth, OpenID Connect, and other authentication standards. o Integrate third-party systems using REST, SOAP, or GraphQL APIs. o Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging. o Deploy applications in development, staging, and production environments. o Write and maintain technical documentation for the project. o Provide post-launch support and troubleshooting for Drupal projects. Technical Skills: o 6+ years of experience in Drupal development, preferably with Drupal 10 or 9. o Hands-on experience in writing advanced PHP. Highly preferred Object Oriented Programming. o Experience in headless Drupal and decoupled architectures. o Strong understanding of Drupal architecture, Drupal hooks, Entity API, and caching mechanisms. o Experience with custom modules and theme development. o Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, and integrating with Identity providers like Okta, Azure AD. o Advanced knowledge of content types, views, taxonomy, and configuration management. o Ensure adherence to Drupal coding standards and best practices. o Hands-on experience with CDN, caching strategies (e.g., Memcached, Redis), and database optimization o Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL. o Experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines. o Familiarity with Symfony and Twig templating. Good to have: o Knowledge of Node.js, Express.js or similar frameworks. o Experience with AWS, Docker, or Kubernetes. o Familiarity with microservices architecture. o Understanding of security best practices (e.g., OWASP, JWT). Soft Skills: o Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. o Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward challenges. o Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
