Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Embryology Procedures : Perform advanced embryology techniques, including oocyte retrieval, fertilization, embryo culture, ICSI, cryopreservation, and embryo biopsy for genetic testing. Preimplantation Genetic Testing : Conduct Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT-A, PGT-M, PGT-SR) with high accuracy to detect genetic abnormalities and improve implantation success rates. Embryo Culture & Monitoring : Oversee embryo development through the culture process, assess embryo quality, and ensure proper handling and growth in culture media. Collaboration : Work closely with fertility specialists, genetic counselors, and other medical professionals to discuss patient treatment plans and contribute to personalized IVF strategies. Training & Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to junior embryologists and laboratory technicians, fostering continuous improvement in laboratory practices. Quality Assurance : Maintain high standards of laboratory practices, ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements, and oversee quality control procedures. Patient Interaction : Communicate effectively with patients, providing support and education on genetic testing and IVF procedures. Documentation & Record-Keeping : Maintain accurate patient records and document all laboratory activities according to clinic standards and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications: Education : Masters degree in Clinical Embryology, Reproductive Biology, or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an embryologist with significant involvement in PGT . Skills : In-depth knowledge of PGT techniques , including PGT-A (aneuploidy screening), PGT-M (monogenic disorders), and PGT-SR (structural rearrangements). Proficiency in IVF laboratory procedures, including oocyte collection, fertilization, embryo culture, cryopreservation, and embryo biopsy. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to handle high-stress situations in a clinical setting. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and interacting with patients. Experience in laboratory management and mentoring junior staff. Contact Number: 8978556048
