Position: Senior Engineer Experience: 3 to 5 Yrs Company: ALTEN - India Location: Bangalore Key Responsibilities: Carry out static/transient, Linear/Non-linear mechanical FEA (Finite element analysis) of Gas Turbine static & rotating components (e.g. blades & Vanes, combustion, Rotors, casing etc.) Provide quality and desired outputs from Stress Analysis and lifing assessment perspective on-time and within budget Account for possible project challenges or constraints and proactively seek to manage challenges Desired Skills: Stress Analysis of Gas turbine or Steam turbine components: Linear and Non-Linear Static Stress analysis, 2D and 3D Analysis. Understanding the lifing method and lifing requirements of critical parts (Crack Initiation & Crack propagation). Perform high temperature creep calculation and assessment. Creep-fatigue interaction needs to be checked. Hands on Experience and working knowledge on Abaqus, UG NX simulation and Ansys softwares. Experience working with SC03 (Rolls-Royce analysis Software) and DARWIN will be an added advantage. Strategic thinking and pro-active Strong Verbal and written communication skills, ability to prepare comprehensive reports Should be a self-starter with a positive attitude and a good team player Qualifications required: Bachelor's in engineering (Preferably in Mechanical / Aerospace) with 3 to 5 years of Stress Analysis experience Interested candidates can share their resume to monika.sounderrajan@alten-india.com
