Job Description

Required Skills Installation and Commissioning Engineers should have strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interact well with many people. Shall have the capacity of being able to read and interpret drawings like Plant & Schematic layout, P&ID, Piping drawing. Awareness of AutoCAD will be advantageous but not mandatory. Should be up to date with the latest developments in technology and science and be familiar with machines, tools, equipment, their design, application, and maintenance. They should have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to explain complex designs and concepts in non-technical language. Knowledge of Blowers, Heat exchangers, Hydraulic pushers, Rotating equipment, Material handling equipment, Chillers & Cooling towers, bucket elevators, belt conveyors. Optional equipment knowledge for Engines, thermal reactors. Responsibilities and Duties Manage smooth commissioning of the project by Coordinating between the company and the Clients. Supervise and approve commissioning plans in accordance with project guidelines. Review designs and supervise onsite commissioning activities. Prepare and maintain commission records of site observations, testing processes and checklists. Outline procedures, norms and details for writing the Systems Manual. Monitor installation, submittals and usage of engineering tools adhering to project and commissioning guidelines. Guide testing processes and motivate specialists to achieve standard results. Assist with identification and redressal of commissioning and malfunction issues. Track and review progress through meetings. Compile commission report data for summarizing. Assist in summarizing and updating commission records. Attain customer satisfaction through adhering to owner guidelines with the entire project team.
