Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Project Planning & Execution Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure execution as per approved designs. Assist in preparing project schedules and resource allocation plans. Monitor daily site activities and coordinate with junior engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.Ensure timely completion of construction milestones. 2. Quality Control & Assurance Implement quality control measures and ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to project specifications. Identify and rectify quality issues in coordination with the QA/QC team. 3. Safety & Compliance Ensure site safety practices are followed as per HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) guidelines.Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for workers and subcontractors. Report and document safety incidents and take corrective actions. 4. Cost & Resource Management Optimize material usage and prevent wastage to control project costs.Verify contractor bills and material reconciliation reports.Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of materials. 5. Team Leadership & Coordination Supervise Junior Engineers, Site Supervisors, and Workers for smooth project execution. Ensure proper task delegation and monitoring of site staff performance. Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to the project team. 6. Communication & Documentation Maintain daily progress reports (DPR), material consumption logs, and site records. Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and consultants. Ensure proper documentation of approvals, permits, and compliance reports. 7. Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination Supervise subcontractors and ensure their work aligns with project requirements. Conduct joint inspections and resolve disputes related to work quality and timelines. Ensure contractual compliance and timely payments for vendors and subcontractors. 8. Technical Troubleshooting & Innovation Identify technical issues and recommend practical solutions for smooth execution. Implement innovative construction techniques to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and new technologies. 9. Client & Stakeholder Management Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders. Address client queries related to project progress, quality, and technical aspects. Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining high standards of workmanship. 10. Reporting & MIS (Management Information System) Prepare and submit project status reports to the Project Manager and senior management.Monitor productivity and generate periodic performance reports.
