Senior Engineer -Estimator

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities A. Roles and responsibilities for the estimator position(civil & structural) • Estimate preparation based on available previous projects data and drawings of civil & structural. • Calculation of major deviations as per actual drawings released for the project • Explanation to site team for any misunderstanding and provide the resolution to the queries. • Assist the site team for preparing the deviation statement from the estimated quantity at the beginning of the project. • Assist in finalization of technical specification for new extra items for the project. • Assist the procurement/site team for finding specialised vendors related to technical civil work like waterproofing/grouting. • Site visit for any new sites & preparation of feasibility report. B .Roles and responsibilities for the VPM team • Periodically site visit for audit of civil work billing & checking the quality documents for the civil & structural works done at the site. • Part of Negotiation team for item rate.
