Job Description

Key Purpose of Role: Person shall be responsible for architecture and design of smart metering/gateway products. Person must have excellent executional skills in C/C++, RTOS based development and metrology (preferred). Person should have prior knowledge of device driver development for various peripheral on 32-bit ARM based microcontroller. Person must have background experience of LAN, HAN and WAN development. Person should have very good knowledge of communication interfaces such as Wifi, Ethernet, SPI, I2C, HDLC, USB and RS485 . It would be good if person has worked on GSM/GPRS/UMTS/LTE (2G, 3G, 4G), TCP/IP, DLMS, Zigbee etc (Not manadatory). Person should be having experience of working in SVN, TFS, VSS and quality processes. Person should have very good knowledge of embedded FW development and test processes. Person should be fast learner with effective communication able to work with autonomy. Areas of Responsibility / Tasks: Overall architecture ownership, design and development FW Design, implementation and debugging for resolution of complex issues Able to provide robust and stable design with optimum resources in terms of memory and processor Able to handle multiple projects Source control, version management and defects management-SVN, TFS Communication with multisite global teams for requirements gathering and discussion on architectural topics Proficient in C++, Shell scripts and Object-oriented methodology (Must) RTOS and Embedded FW development (Must) Experience: 4 to 7 years (Must) Preferred candidate profile Proficient in C++, Shell scripts and Object oriented methodology RTOS and Embedded FW development Experience: 4 to 7 years Regards HR (hina.rajput@landisgyr.com)
