Roles & Responsibilities: Independent contributor dealing with material scientist on material selection Analysing of materials, structural properties, characterization, and processing techniques etc. Ability to work in team environment and Cross functional teams. Exhibiting Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Experience: 5- 10 years Medical devices products Desired Education Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech. (Polymer/Plastics/Material Technology/Equivalent) Tools: MS office, Adaptiv PLM Required Skills: Relevant work experience in medical devices domain. Material-related Strategies Create / follow processes and procedures to assist material related strategies for defining raw material shelf-life/ storage condition and material assessment. Creating a database for material supporting documents used in building rationales, shelf-life forecast etc., Material Assessment Assessment of materials for hazardous substances. Working on REACH, SVHC, PFAS and other hazardous substance management as per EU/ US regulation Thorough understanding and experience in different types of materials, structural properties & material stability All Activities must be performed in compliance to the Medical Quality Systems Experience in Change management activities related to Raw Materials Exposure to change order creation and routing the documents in PLM Desired Skills: Should be ready to work in shifts. Stakeholder interaction and participate in meetings Additional Criteria: Strong Written and Oral communication skills Ability to persuade people by technical rationales.
