Job Description

Purpose of the job: To guarantee stability and reliability of the suppliers quality management system, vendor production process and parts for the company. Responsibilities and Activities ================== NPD & project development: Set up APQP for new project validation and new supplier development according to procedure; Push the supplier to respect the schedule of each step and assure of good result; Update the APQP timely when a milestone is reached; Work with supplier to set up control plan for mass production and Incoming Quality control. Co-ordination with other stake holders: Keep in touch with Incoming Quality Control, internal production leaders/supervisors and SQE Europe about the quality of purchased parts. If there is non-conformity, ask supplier for corrective actions according to procedure; Collaborate with supplier for root cause analysis, permanent corrective actions and follow the effectiveness of CA; Audit suppliers for both process and quality system, and ask for improvement in potentially risky point and step; Update incoming control plan based on supplier's quality performance and audit results; Other duties assigned by Quality Manager Candidate Profile: ============= Bachelor degree or above, in mechanical engineering; Minimum 2 years' experience as SQE and 5 yrs in Quality department in mechanical industries: machining, casting, gear, etc. Familiar with MS Office software; fluent in spoken English to communicate with foreign Engineers familiar with reading & interpreting mechanical drawings Basic knowledge about APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC & other Quality core tools. strong communication in English, coordination skill and team working spirit; Ready to travel for vendor visits. Technical skills Good knowledge of cast iron (technology, process control requirement), machining process control, heat treatment for steel; Knowledge of gear manufacturing process is preferred; Familiar with quality problem solving methods: 8D, Ishikawa diagrams (fishbone) etc.; Quality internal auditor/ 6 Sigma green / black belt certifications
