Senior Engineer/Egineer - MEP (QS)

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities 1. Execution Coordinate and follow up with consultants and architects for budget estimations BOQ's Study DBR and send comments if any to the consultant Prepare services budgets and revised budgets; Quantity take-off for preparing the budget; Prepare BOM's as per the estimated budget Follow up with consultant for tender drawings, tender BOQs and GFC drawings; Raise queries on tender / information drawings and send comments to the consultants Float tenders to vendors and prepare comparative statements and rate analysis for the main items to be further submitted to senior management Coordinate with the Purchase Department for timely communication of material specifications, indenting and sample selection, procurement status/work order status; Highlight deviations from the material delivery plan Prepare work orders by co-ordinating with the site in-charge/engineer Verify quantity variation statements as per the site condition and preparing of amendment work orders Check and authorize sub-contractor RA bills Coordinate with site teams (plumbing, waterproofing, electrical etc) to ensure continuous progress of construction work Assist in conducting periodic audits to drive compliance with ISO requirements and other quality & safety standards (statutory and organizational); Ensure timely documentation and maintenance of records Day to day co-ordination with site users for ERP issues; Train new users for ERP billing and material indent process Prepare budget trackers for every 3 months Participate in development of new reports as per the management instructions Update budgets and BOM's in ERP as per the site requirement 2. People Foster an environment of learning, excellence and innovation within all aspects of team work Mentor and guide subordinates and trainees to develop their capabilities Required Candidate profile B. Tech/ BE (Mechanical/Electrical) with 4-6 years of experience in construction of High Rise residential buildings and High – End villas in Real Estate Industry Must have sound knowledge of MEP (QS) works Must have experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, Firefighting, BMS and STP works in high rise residential buildings or commercial buildings/ IT buildings and mall & multiplex Strong technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing and design domain
