About the Role We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior English Teacher to provide personalized 1:1 online coaching to students. The ideal candidate will have expertise in teaching literature, creative writing, poetry, storytelling, and public speaking, with a focus on tailoring lessons to individual student needs. This role requires creating engaging content, designing customized learning plans, and fostering a supportive online learning environment. Key Responsibilities Develop individualized learning plans based on student goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. Deliver live, interactive online sessions using dynamic teaching methods to engage students. Design and adapt original teaching content (lesson plans, worksheets, multimedia resources). Teach literary analysis, creative writing, poetry composition, storytelling techniques, and public speaking skills. Assign, evaluate, and provide detailed feedback on homework and projects after each session. Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure academic growth. Maintain organized records of student performance, feedback, and lesson plans. Foster confidence and critical thinking in students through constructive mentorship. Requirements 7+ years of full-time English teaching experience (ages 12+). Native or near-native fluency in written and verbal English. Proven expertise in literature, creative writing, poetry, storytelling, and public speaking. Experience in curriculum development and personalized lesson planning. Strong ability to assess student performance and provide actionable feedback. Prior experience teaching international students (preferred). Technical Requirements High-speed broadband internet (minimum 50 Mbps speed). HD webcam and noise-canceling microphone for clear communication. Dedicated workstation with a professional, distraction-free background (neutral setting, no clutter). Pentab (writing tablet) for real-time annotations and interactive lessons.
