Job Role : P ayroll + Statutory Compliance ( HR ) Job Title : Entry to Mid-Level Department : Human Resource Payroll Processing : Manage the end-to-end payroll process for employees, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll for both salaried and hourly employees. Compliance & Regulations : Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll-related laws, including tax deductions, benefits, and other statutory requirements (e.g., tax filings, labor laws). Data Accuracy : Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee pay, deductions, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and reimbursements. Team Collaboration : Work closely with the HR, Finance, and IT teams to ensure payroll-related matters are properly integrated with employee records, timekeeping systems, and financial processes. Employee Inquiries : Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits, deductions, and tax-related matters, ensuring clear communication and resolution of issues. Tax Filings : Oversee tax calculations and filings state, and local taxes, including quarterly and annual filings. System Management : Oversee and optimize payroll software/system and troubleshoot any technical issues related to payroll processing. Benefits Coordination : Work with the HR department to administer employee benefits deductions and other related processes, ensuring that benefits are accurately reflected in payroll. Audit & Internal Controls : Perform periodic audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll data and internal controls related to payroll processes. Record Keeping : Maintain confidentiality and security of all payroll information, and ensure proper retention and storage of payroll records.
