Job Description

Purchase Executive - Civil will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring construction materials and services needed for civil engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness by managing relationships with vendors, analyzing market trends, and adhering to company procurement policies. Key Responsibilities: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers of civil construction materials like concrete, steel, bricks, aggregates, etc. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliable supply and competitive pricing. Conduct regular performance reviews of vendors based on quality, delivery time, and pricing. Analyze project specifications and bill of materials to identify required construction materials. Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to optimize procurement strategies. Compare quotes from multiple vendors to secure the best price for materials and services. Track purchase orders and ensure adherence to budget allocations. Adhere to company procurement policies, legal requirements, and industry standards. Maintain accurate purchase order records, vendor information, and related documentation. Prepare reports on procurement activities, cost analysis, and vendor performance. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Strong understanding of civil construction materials, their specifications, and quality standards. 1 to 3 years experience in procurement and vendor management within the civil construction industry. Excellent negotiation and analytical skills to secure favorable pricing and terms Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
