Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager – Finance to oversee and manage the comprehensive financial operations of BimaPay. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with substantial experience in lending, financial management, and team leadership. This role requires a proactive individual capable of driving financial strategies, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the company's growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: Oversee end-to-end financial operations, including lender reconciliation and accounting processes. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.[hm1] Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and manage a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and provide financial insights for decision-making. Lending Operations: Manage and oversee lending activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Analyze lending data to identify risks, trends, and areas for improvement, ensuring lending volume and profit goals are met. Financial Analysis and Planning: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement. Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support strategic initiatives. Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including timely tax filings and statutory audits. Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as necessary. Qualifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is mandatory. Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in lending operations is required. Proven experience in financial management, including accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis. Strong leadership skills with experience in building and managing finance teams. Proficiency in accounting software, such as Tally, and advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity and professionalism. Preferred Skills: Experience in the financial technology (fintech) sector. Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in the BFSI sector. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
