Functional Area Development About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Developer to join our dynamic team at Kenscio in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in modern PHP frameworks and be proficient in JavaScript, with a preference for Node.js. The role demands in-depth knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and modern frameworks. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server- side logic. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Design and implement database schemas, queries, and optimizations. Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Oracle). Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications. Ensure all applications are secure and comply with best practices in security and data protection. Required Qualifications: Engineering degree in computer science, Information Science, Electronics, or related field or MCA from a reputed college. Minimum of 4 years of experience in PHP development with a strong command of one or more modern PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter). Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with Node.js. Expertise in working with databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL. Practical experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Oracle. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills: Experience with Linux, Docker and containerization technologies. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
