Role & responsibilities : We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Lateral Hiring Recruiter to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. The Lateral Hiring Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and hiring experienced professionals across various functions and departments. This role requires a deep understanding of the hiring landscape, excellent relationship-building skills, and a track record of success in recruiting mid-to-senior-level candidates. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and have a keen eye for identifying top talent to meet the company's strategic hiring goals. Key Responsibilities: Lateral Hiring Strategy: Develop and execute lateral hiring strategies to attract top talent from relevant industries, ensuring alignment with the company's business goals and hiring needs. Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing channels including LinkedIn, job boards, networking events, and industry conferences to find qualified candidates for senior and experienced-level positions. Talent Engagement: Establish and maintain relationships with potential candidates, acting as the point of contact throughout the hiring process. Use creative techniques to keep candidates engaged and interested. Job Postings & Advertising: Write compelling job descriptions, post job ads on relevant platforms, and create engaging content that attracts experienced professionals. Candidate Screening & Interviews: Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, assess candidates' qualifications, and schedule interviews. Collaborate with hiring managers to assess cultural fit and qualifications. Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand the requirements of lateral hires, create accurate job profiles, and ensure alignment on candidate selection. Offer Negotiation: Lead the offer process, including compensation negotiation, and ensure timely communication with candidates regarding offer details. Market Research & Analysis: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor talent acquisition strategies, and salary benchmarks for lateral hires in various sectors to make data-driven decisions. Candidate Experience: Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process, ensuring clear communication and timely feedback. Diversity & Inclusion: Promote diversity and inclusion in the hiring process by ensuring fair and equitable treatment of all candidates. Onboarding Support: Work closely with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires. Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in recruiting for lateral or senior-level positions. Skills: Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring. Expertise in leveraging various sourcing platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, social media, etc.). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and build relationships with candidates and hiring managers. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools. Strong negotiation and closing skills. Knowledge: Familiarity with lateral hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and industry best practices.
