Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Labour Law Compliance: Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements under the Factories Act, 1948, Industrial Disputes Act, ESI Act, PF Act, Payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act, and other applicable labour laws. Maintain up-to-date records of statutory registers, returns, and notices. Liaise with government authorities (Labour Inspector, Factory Inspector, ESI/PF offices) during inspections and audits. Employee Relations: Handle grievances and disciplinary actions as per the standing orders and industrial relations policy. Facilitate communication between management and workers to promote a positive work environment. Coordinate with labour unions, if applicable, for negotiations and settlements. Payroll & Attendance: Ensure accurate attendance records and coordinate with payroll for wage processing. Implement and monitor timekeeping systems. Contract Labour Management: Ensure compliance of contract labour under CLRA Act. Verify documentation and statutory records of contractors. Monitor contractor workers' conditions, wages, and welfare. Health, Safety & Welfare: Ensure statutory compliance related to employee safety, health, and welfare under the Factories Act. Support EHS team in organizing safety drills, health checkups, and welfare initiatives. Recruitment & Onboarding: Support blue-collar recruitment and onboarding process in line with company and statutory guidelines. Maintain records of employee documentation and personal files. Training & Development: Coordinate training programs on labour laws, safety, and soft skills for workers and staff. Additional Requirements: Willingness to work in a factory location Ability to travel locally for inspections or government liaison if required
