Job Description

Role & responsibilities Drive the greenfield development of the factory at Vemagal Industry Park Phase 2, Kolara District Manage architects, civil engineering partners and construction contractors Lead communications with public shareholders & political decision makers Obtain necessary approvals for planned developments & ensure legal compliance Support capex planning for equipment and production ramp-up Follow strictly the masterplan for production setup and ensure the execution in close alignment with German HQ and local management Oversight & allocation a multiple million-euro investment budget in close alignment with German HQ First point-of-contact for external & internal stakeholders (authorities, management, architects etc.) Supervision and reporting of project timelines and finances Management of multi-divisional project team with direct & functional reports Willing to travel to the Green field project on a Regular basis during execution Willing to travel abroad if necessary (e.g. to Germany) Preferred candidate profile Proven track record of successfully realized large industrial greenfield projects In-depth expertise on technical & legal aspects of factory construction 20+ years of experience in working with multinational corporations preferred Ideally a civil engineering background (other fields possible but should exhibit sound Project management experience) Familiar with the local language (speak /read /write) will have an advantage
