Senior IT Engineer Location: Bangalore Job Type: Full-Time Experience: 5+ Years Reports To: Head of IT Job Summary The Senior IT Engineer position requires an experienced individual to lead endpoint infrastructure and IT support operations, focusing on management, security, and optimization. The successful candidate will possess expertise in ManageEngine, CrowdStrike, and Endpoint Management. They will also deliver technical support, troubleshooting, and IT service management. This role encompasses endpoint security, patch management, automation, IT support, and incident response, ensuring adherence to industry standards. Key Responsibilities IT Support & Service Management Provide Level 2 - IT support for endpoint-related issues limited to Laptops. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and application issues for end-users. Manage and maintain IT support tools like ITAM, ITSM platforms. Ensure timely resolution of IT tickets and maintain SLA compliance. Conduct root cause analysis for recurring IT issues and implement preventive measures and documentation. Endpoint Management & IT Operations Deploy, manage, and optimize ManageEngine Endpoint Central, Patch Manager, and Removable Device Control. Oversee endpoint provisioning, patching, configuration, and compliance across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments. Automate endpoint management tasks to improve efficiency and minimize security risks. Manage MangeEngine MDM for device administration. Support remote users and hybrid work environments by secure remote access solutions. Security & Threat Management Implement and maintain CrowdStrike Falcon for endpoint security, threat detection, and incident response. Investigate, analyze, and mitigate security threats on endpoints and IT infrastructure. Enforce endpoint security policies, antivirus, encryption, etc. IT Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and other regulatory frameworks for endpoint security. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, security audits, and endpoint hardening to minimize risks. Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and endpoint policies in alignment with IT security best practices. Infrastructure Support & Collaboration Work closely with Information Security and Compliance teams to maintain a secure IT ecosystem. Troubleshoot complex IT infrastructure issues related to endpoint security, patching, and performance. Key Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills: IT Support & Troubleshooting (Windows, macOS, Linux, Networking). ManageEngine (Endpoint Central, Patch Manager, ServiceDesk Plus, Asset Management). CrowdStrike Falcon (Threat Detection, EDR, Response & Integration). Endpoint Management (MDM) Patch Management & Automation Security Compliance Awareness (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, etc.) Experience & Certifications (Preferred): 5+ years of experience in IT engineering, endpoint security, or infrastructure management. Hands-on experience with enterprise endpoint management solutions. Certifications such as CrowdStrike CCFA, ITIL, ManageEngine certifications are an added advantage. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and end-user support skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle critical incidents.
