Senior Java Engineer

Job Description

Required Qualifications: Develop, test, and debug software applications using Java. Identify and implement solutions to problems encountered. Participate in various phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, integration testing, and quality assurance. Understand client requirements, analyze needs, implement enhancements, and fix bugs. Provide flexible software designs that accommodate change requests efficiently. Write documentation such as user guides, technical documentation, and design documents in Confluence. Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly team meetings. Guide team members and conduct code reviews. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. At least 5 years of experience in Java web development. Strong experience with the Java Spring Boot framework and Java programming language. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and REST APIs. Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL databases. Strong focus on delivering results. Ability to multi-task effectively. Strong testing skills. Proficient in verbal and written English communication. Familiarity with the Agile software development process.
