Job Title Senior Manager – B2B Logistics Job Location – Kolkata Job Type – Permanent Work Experience – 5-8 Years Department – Supply Chain Job Summary: The Senior Manager - B2B Logistics is responsible for managing and optimizing the logistics operations for B2B clients, ensuring efficient transportation, timely delivery, and superior customer satisfaction. This role involves overseeing supply chain activities, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and identifying opportunities to enhance logistics processes. Job Responsibilities: 1. Logistics Operations Management Plan, execute, and monitor end-to-end logistics activities to ensure smooth delivery of goods to B2B clients. Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, warehouse management, and inventory control. Develop and maintain delivery schedules to meet client requirements. Understanding and experience of Fleet Management 2. Client Relationship Management Act as the primary point of contact for B2B clients to address logistics-related queries and concerns. Collaborate with clients to understand their logistics needs and ensure timely and accurate fulfilment. Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction and retention. 3. Vendor & Partner Coordination Liaise with third-party logistics providers, transporters, and other vendors to negotiate contracts, manage costs, and ensure service quality. Monitor the performance of logistics partners and resolve any issues promptly. 4. Process Optimization & Reporting Identify inefficiencies in the logistics process and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Implement best practices for cost control, route optimization, and load management. Generate regular reports on logistics performance, costs, and KPIs for senior management review. 5. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Identify and mitigate risks associated with transportation, warehousing, and supply chain operations. 6. Team Management & Training Supervise and guide logistics staff, ensuring alignment with company goals. Conduct training sessions to enhance team performance and maintain a high standard of operations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in B.Tech or Commerce background, MBA in supply chain management, business administration preferred. Proven experience in logistics management, particularly in a B2B environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven experience in managing vendor relationships.
