We are looking for a Sr Manager of Engineering to join our Clinicals Mobile products engineering team. As a Sr Manager, you will partner with Product to drive the success and evolution of key areas of our entire product line. The Team: Our Mobile Microservices team consists of some of the top brains in the industry and strive towards constant excellence. We build the interface that helps in deriving the behaviour of the athenaOne mobile solution in real time. This team is innovative, passionate, and driven by the mission to transform healthcare. Job Responsibilities Drive planning and execution for scrum team, to deliver releases in alignment with organizational and product objectives Maintain knowledge of product architecture, connective dependencies, technical concerns such as rollout strategies, performance and scalability to ensure the right decisions are made Develop your team; provide regular feedback to help them learn and grow Foster a culture of engineering best practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement Share the team vision and strategy to foster an understanding of the overall direction and the "why" behind decisions Assist Product Owners and TPMs to drive cross functional initiatives to successful completion Typical Qualifications Over 12 years of professional experience, including more than 3 years in leadership roles within a technical environment. Experience in distributed systems, cloud-based architecture and highly-available systems Rich experience of java based asynchronous programming (NodeJS, vertx etc.) Exposure to one or more test automation frameworks like JUnit, Selenium, Rest Assured, Mocha and Chai etc. Exposure to build and configuration management tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Artefactory, SVN, Git, BitBucket etc.) Exposure to cloud services (AWS, OpenStack etc.) Technical appetite to get your hands dirty, if needed. Experience leading teams in an agile environment. Track record of growing your engineers and teams Collaborative approach to driving best possible results and outcome for the customer
