Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Marketplace Head to lead our ecommerce marketplace business across Myntra, Ajio, Tata Luxury, and other platforms . This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key marketplace relationships, and overseeing a team handling multiple operational functions. The Marketplace Head will directly manage three Key Account Managers and lead a broader team responsible for product listing, discount uploads, merchandising, operations, SPF, and content management . Key Responsibilities: Marketplace Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute marketplace strategies to maximize revenue and profitability. Expand brand presence by identifying and leveraging new marketplace opportunities. Analyze sales trends, competition, and platform policies to optimize business performance. Team Leadership & Performance Management: Directly manage three Key Account Managers responsible for marketplace performance. Oversee a team handling product listing, discount uploads, merchandising, operations, SPF, and content management . Set KPIs, track performance, and provide strategic direction to ensure business objectives are met. P&L and Revenue Management: Own the P&L for all marketplace channels and ensure profitability. Optimize pricing, discounting, and inventory planning to balance sales growth and margins. Work with finance and leadership teams to track revenue, costs, and marketplace fees. Operations & Compliance: Ensure seamless product listing, catalog accuracy, and compliance with platform guidelines. Oversee logistics, order fulfillment, and return management in collaboration with warehouse teams. Manage SPF (Seller Protection Fund) processes, ensuring claims are tracked and optimized. Marketing & Promotions: Plan and execute marketplace-driven promotions, ad campaigns, and visibility strategies. Work with marketplace ad teams to optimize ad spends and improve ROAS . Leverage analytics to enhance conversion rates and overall marketplace performance. Requirements: Experience: 7-12 years in ecommerce marketplace management , preferably in fashion/luxury retail . Leadership: Proven experience managing teams across multiple marketplace functions. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze sales data, campaign performance, and customer behavior . Technical Proficiency: Experience with marketplace dashboards, analytics tools, and ad platforms . Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of fashion ecommerce, pricing strategies, and operational workflows . Show more Show less
