Job description Role & responsibilities Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates. Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices. Ensure delivery on agreed organization goals. Relationship management, Build relationships with members in the client system by communicating consistently, and regularly. Identifies and recommends updates to payroll processing software, systems, and procedure. Prepare communication plans to keep client up to date with developments in the processes and service delivery improvements. Coordinate the work of all departments that deal directly or indirectly with the assigned clients, thereby ensuring optimum customer satisfaction levels in case of inaccurate deliverables and ensuring escalations. Build a dependent relationship with assigned clients and maintain their loyalty over the long term. Monitor, manages & coordinates, Manage and monitors the workings of various processes within the department. Provide all necessary reports to the management on all operational activities. Performs other duties as assigned. Ensure timely and accurate delivery.Role & responsibilities Key Requirements Experience of executing core Payroll engagement processes while leading/ working with a team. People Relationship Management. Good analytical and numerical ability. Expertise on MS Excel and MS Power point. Candidate must possess strong knowledge in benefit and compensation principals, Payroll Taxes, Income Tax, Provident Fund, Labour Laws and Retirals. Strong knowledge of statutory compliances relating to Payroll like PF/ ESI/ P. Tax/ LWF and TDS is required. Good command over Microsoft Office Suite including advance excel. Ability to architect strategy along with technical and analytical skills. Excellent active listening, coordination and presentation skills.
