URL: https://www.bharatforge.com/: Position Title: Sr. Manager - Quality Assurance Department: Plant Quality Assurance, Forging Reporting to: Quality Head Qualification: Graduation / Post Graduation in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Production Experience: Minimum15 years Job Purpose & Role: Head Plant Quality Assurance for Forging - Mundhwa Key Activities & Expectations: Implement BFLs Quality Vision & Policy, SOPs in Mundhwa Plant, Lead all Plant Quality activities in Mundhwa plant for Forging Operations Drive Zero Defect to customer & customer first approach, interact with Customers on Quality issues, Quality capability showcasing & rapport development, Ensure that there is adherence to quality systems & continuous improvement on QMS, ensure MRM on quality & actions implementation thereby, Take focused initiatives on reduction of Quality process gaps, non-conformance & rejections by effectively driving RCA. Support SQA, supplier development to ensure 100% QA input parts to the plants. Co-ordinate & closely work with Metallurgy QA for RM quality management, Digitalize Plant quality data & support digitization initiatives in the plants, Ensure across plants standardization of processes & practices of the global level, Drive adherence to APQP for NPD to ensure right first time productionising, Identify skill gaps & ensure needful training plan to keep team skill up to date, Support HR policies like PMS, succession planning, capability building etc. Key Deliverables & Technical skills required: Drive Plant rejection ppm towards zero. Manage all Plants communication on quality requirement. Monitor & reduce COPQ pertaining to bad quality, Drive first time right for new parts development, Knowledge of Forging, machining processes, Exposure to automotive industry must Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9000 and IATF 16949 & other quality standards Flair for Industry 4.0, digitalization, data analytics etc. Other Skills Required Result Oriented, Process centric, Hands on knowledge of quality tools, inspection & measurement, auditing skills Six sigma belt preferred, exposure to other TQM methodologies like LEAN, TPM, etc CFT management, & people management skills Have good spoken and written communication skills, Must have lead Plant quality or quality functions for a large automotive component business for 3 - 5 years.
