The Role We are looking for a seasoned Senior Tech OperationsManager to become an integral part of our dynamic team. The ideal candidatewill be a Scrum Master have a proven track record of successfully runningmultiple squads in a remote environment, along with a foundationalunderstanding of front-end development, QA processes with an overarchingproduct mindset. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in fosteringAgile principles, facilitating collaboration, and ensuring the successfuldelivery of tech deliverables. Key Responsibilities Agile Leadership: Lead multiple cross-functional Agile teams as a ScrumMaster, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuousimprovement, and transparency within the squads. Facilitation and Communication: Conduct and facilitate Agile ceremonies, includingsprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Effectively communicate team progress, impediments,and dependencies to stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals. Remote Collaboration: Implement strategies for effective remotecollaboration, addressing challenges and promoting a cohesive team dynamic. Utilize remote collaboration tools to enhancecommunication and coordination across distributed teams. Product Backlog Management: Collaborate with product owners to refine andprioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Assist in defining user stories, acceptance criteria,and other relevant product documentation. Impediment Resolution: Identify and manage impediments, working proactivelyto remove obstacles that hinder team progress. Escalate issues when necessary to ensure timelyresolution. Coaching and Mentorship: Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles,Scrum practices, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance on best practices for Agiledevelopment and foster a culture of learning and development. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other Scrum Masters, productmanagers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on organizational goals andpriorities. Encourage cross-functional collaboration and knowledgesharing among teams. Big Picture Thinking and Attention to Detail: Cultivate a balance between big-picture thinking andattention to detail, ensuring that overall project objectives align withorganizational goals while maintaining a focus on the specifics of each sprint. Conduct regular reviews of project progress to ensurealignment with long-term objectives while addressing day-to-day tasks andpotential roadblocks. Quality Assurance Readiness: Understand QA and be hands on with QA processes aswell as conduct self QA as needed. Ensure quality assurance processes are integratedseamlessly into the development lifecycle. Requirements Scrum Master Expertise: Proven experience as a Scrum Master, overseeingmultiple squads in a distributed (remote) environment. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrumframework, and best practices. Front-End Development Knowledge: Basic front-end development skills, includingfamiliarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Ability to engage in technical discussions withdevelopment teams and contribute to informed decision-making. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills,especially in a remote working context. Ability to convey complex ideas and facilitatediscussions effectively. Product Mindset: Demonstrated experience with a product-orientedmindset, focusing on delivering value to end-users. Understanding of product development lifecycles andprocesses. Certification: Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)is preferred. Additional Agile certifications and ongoingprofessional development are a plus. Team Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functionalteams, stakeholders, and leadership to achieve common goals. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment tofostering a positive team environment. Big Picture Thinking and Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to think strategically aboutproject goals and contribute to the broader organizational vision. Keen attention to detail to address specificrequirements, user stories, and potential challenges within each sprint. Quality Assurance Readiness: Familiarity with quality assurance processes and a commitmentto delivering high-quality software. Proven experience in preparing development teams foreffective collaboration with QA teams, resulting in efficient and timelytesting processes. Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, with strong verbal and writtencommunication skills. Proficient in Hindi, enabling effective communicationwith team members, stakeholders, and collaborators who may use Hindi as theirprimary language.
