Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS (KRA) FOR SENIOR MARKETING MANAGER 1. Strategic Marketing & Branding Develop and execute comprehensive publicity strategies and marketing campaigns to enhance the universitys brand image and visibility. Ensure all marketing materials, communications, and digital content align with brand standards and positioning. Identify and implement new promotional opportunities to expand the university’s reach and engagement with stakeholders. 2. Public Relations (PR) & Media Management Develop, execute, and manage PR campaigns and media relations strategies to build a positive brand reputation. Establish and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media personnel, and influencers to secure media coverage. Organize press conferences, HR meets, and campus media visits every 3-6 months to ensure continuous media engagement. Monitor media coverage, respond to inquiries, and proactively manage the university’s public image. 3. Content Development & Communications Write, edit, and distribute compelling content including press releases, blog posts, newsletters, website content, and other marketing materials. Ensure all communication materials maintain consistency in messaging and brand guidelines. Collaborate with academic and admissions teams to craft promotional messages tailored to different target audiences. 4. Digital & Social Media Marketing Oversee the university’s digital marketing strategy, including SEO, SEM, PPC campaigns, and social media management. Plan and execute social media campaigns to engage prospective students, alumni, and other stakeholders. Manage and update website content to ensure accuracy, relevancy, and optimization for search engines. Track digital analytics and performance metrics to optimize marketing strategies. 5. Event Management & Outreach Plan, organize, and attend promotional events such as award functions, open days, exhibitions, tours, and industry meetups. Represent the university at admission fairs and exhibitions in various cities to attract potential students. Develop and deliver institute presentations to prospective students, corporate partners, and other stakeholders. 6. Stakeholder Collaboration & Admission Support Work closely with the admissions and marketing team to design and implement student recruitment campaigns. Collaborate with faculty, alumni, and industry experts to enhance marketing initiatives and public engagement. Provide timely updates and reports on PR and marketing campaign progress to all stakeholders. 7. Marketing Collateral Development Edit and update promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, videos, and social media content. Maintain an archive of digital assets, including photographs and videos, for marketing and publicity purposes. 8. Telemarketing & Counseling Team Management Oversee and guide the telemarketing and counseling teams to ensure 100% productivity in student recruitment. Develop call scripts and ensure the team is trained to handle inquiries professionally and effectively. 9. Reputation & Crisis Management Monitor and manage the university’s reputation across online and offline platforms. Handle crisis communication and respond promptly to any PR-related challenges. Seek innovative ways to enhance the university’s image through thought leadership and community engagement. 10. Performance Tracking & Reporting Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing, PR, and digital campaigns. Prepare reports and insights to assess the effectiveness of strategies and suggest improvements. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging marketing technologies to refine marketing plans.
