Job Title: Senior Merchandiser (Walmart Account) Textile Industry Location: Panipat Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Merchandising Manager Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Merchandiser with a strong background in handling Walmart accounts within the textile industry . The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Walmart’s merchandising requirements, compliance standards, and supply chain processes. This role involves managing product development, order execution, and building strong client relationships to ensure seamless coordination between internal teams and Walmart. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for Walmart, ensuring all requirements and expectations are met. Oversee the end-to-end merchandising process, including product development, sourcing, sampling, approvals, and order fulfillment. Collaborate with design, production, and supply chain teams to ensure timely execution of orders. Monitor Walmart’s compliance guidelines and ensure all documentation, packaging, and labeling adhere to their standards. Analyze sales trends, inventory levels, and consumer insights to recommend strategies for increased sales and improved product assortments. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers and factories to maintain cost efficiency. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay updated on industry trends and Walmart’s evolving expectations. Manage production tracking, quality control processes, and on-time delivery to Walmart distribution centers. Prepare and present business reports, including sales performance, forecasts, and margin analysis. Resolve any order-related issues by working closely with Walmart buyers and internal teams. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Textile Merchandising, Supply Chain, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in merchandising, specifically handling Walmart accounts in the textile industry. Strong understanding of Walmart’s merchandising and compliance standards. Experience working with overseas suppliers, factories, and sourcing teams. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems. Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and manage large volumes of data. Strong analytical skills with a focus on market trends and consumer demand. Preferred Skills: Experience in home textiles, apparel, or fabric sourcing. Knowledge of Walmart’s Retail Link system. Familiarity with sustainable and ethical sourcing practices. Ability to travel as required for supplier meetings and Walmart visits. Why Join Us?
