IMMEDIATE JOINER Job Title: Network Engineer Experience Level: 3-5 Years Location: Hyderabad Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cisco Network Engineer with 3-5years of experience to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Cisco-based network infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and security. The candidate should possess a strong technical background in networking technologies and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Network Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain Cisco-based network solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure meets organizational requirements. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve network-related issues promptly to minimize downtime. Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and security. Network Security: Implement and manage network security protocols to safeguard against unauthorized access and cyber threats. Stay updated on industry best practices for network security and implement necessary measures. Network Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor network performance and proactively address any bottlenecks or performance issues. Optimize network configurations for maximum efficiency and reliability. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures. Create and update network diagrams, ensuring they reflect the current state of the network. Technical Skill Set: Technologies: Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco routers and switches. Experience with Cisco/Checkpoint firewalls and VPN configurations. Knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and Nexus series switches. Routing and Switching: Strong understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP). VLAN management and implementation. Experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies. Security: Implementation and management of firewall policies. Familiarity with intrusion detection and prevention systems. Wireless Networking: Configuration and management of Cisco wireless controllers and access points. Troubleshooting wireless connectivity issues. Network Monitoring Tools: Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or Cisco Prime. Ability to analyze network performance metrics and take corrective actions. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 2. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification is required. 3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. 5.
