Job Description

Required Skills and Experience 36 years of experience working with Oracle Database on both Linux and Windows platforms Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL Hands-on experience with RMAN backup and recovery Good understanding of Oracle RAC and Data Guard Practical experience in data loading, validation , and database refresh tasks Exposure to at least two open-source databases (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra ) Experience with Backup, High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) Good understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems Familiarity with networking concepts, TCP/IP , and storage best practices Basic knowledge of ITIL processes and compliance (certification is a plus) Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and a collaborative team-oriented attitude Key Responsibilities Handle all Database Administration (DBA) related activities and maintain database uptime Understand application flow to troubleshoot performance-related issues Implement best practices to ensure database security Follow change management and organizational processes Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth database operations Work on future technology opportunities and collaborate with the team for continuous improvement
