Senior PHP Programmer

Job Description

We are looking for a PHP Team Leader with strong hands-on experience in developing security-based domain projects/products and a passion for Linux-based web development . This role involves leading a team of developers, designing scalable solutions, and ensuring project delivery within timelines. The ideal candidate should be currently engaged in web-based product development and must possess strong problem-solving and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of PHP developers through the entire software development life cycle (SDLC). Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance web applications . Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers. Guide the team in using best practices for secure coding and development on Linux platforms. Review code, conduct code audits, and enforce quality standards. Analyze client requirements and translate them into technical deliverables. Handle project planning, task assignment, and delivery monitoring. Provide technical mentorship and support to team members. Required Skills & Qualifications 48 years of experience in PHP development , including at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in developing security-focused applications or working in security domains. Strong knowledge of web-based application development and Linux environments . Proficiency in PHP, MySQL , and modern frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter). Familiarity with front-end technologies : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX. Experience with version control systems like Git. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team management skills. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Good to Have Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of web application security standards (e.g., OWASP Top 10). Experience with API development and integration (RESTful APIs, SOAP). Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
