Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role as a Senior Planning Engineer located in Mumbai. The Senior Planning Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as planning, production planning, project control, and effective communication within the team. The role involves overseeing and optimizing project schedules, resource allocation, and timeline management. QualificationsPlanning and Production Planning skillsStrong Analytical SkillsEffective Communication skills, Project Control expertise, Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or other scheduling tools.Ability to develop and manage baseline programs, lookahead schedules, and resource-loaded schedules.Deep understanding of construction methodology for high-rise buildings (e.g., core and shell, top-down construction, jumpform systems).Setup and use of Earned Value Management (EVM).Generate weekly/monthly progress reports, S-curves, and dashboards.Familiarity with local construction codes, fire safety laws, and OSHA or equivalent safety guidelines.Ability to anticipate construction risks (e.g., crane logistics, vertical transportation) and develop mitigation plans.Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, and contractors for schedule alignment.Present schedules, delays, and recovery plans to clients, consultants, and project managers.Evaluate and integrate variations, change orders, and claims into the schedule with time impact analysis (TIA).Analyze productivity rates and update forecasts for time and resources.Familiarity with BIM (Revit/Navisworks), Excel (advanced), Power BI for visual dashboards, and AutoCAD for reviewing drawings.Ability to assess and explain delays and their impacts on the project timeline.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldProficiency in project management softwarePMP certification is a plus Experience - 10 to 12 years of Experience required in high rise building.
